Presentation by Prof. M. Jansen on Mohenjo Daro
On December 20th, 2017, Prof. M. Jansen gave a presentation on Mohenjo Daro, the largest Bronze Age City of the World. The presentation was held at the German University of Technology in Oman, GUtech. RIO Task Force Inaugurating Meeting
The first meeting of RIO Task Force was held on May, 8th 2018. Professors from different Departments of GUtech, members of RIO as well representatives from the German Embassy in Oman attended the meeting and discussed fundamental issues regarding the form and the function of the Research Centre Indian Ocean. It is RIO's vision and aim to act as a research platform that will bring together researchers and promote scientific work carried out within the region of the Indian Ocean.

International Technical Meeting on the Future of the Bamiyan World Heritage Property
The objectives of the meeting are dealing with the future development of the Bamiyan valley in relation to the UNESCO World Heritage property. The meeting is organized in 6 sessions.
